Showcase Your Business at the 2024 Yemassee Shrimp Festival: Vendor Applications Now Open!

Yemassee, SC – The Town of Yemassee is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Shrimp Festival from October 10 to October 12, 2024. This year's festival promises to be more vibrant than ever, with a wide range of food, entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Vendors interested in joining the festival can now apply online, ensuring their place at this exciting event. https://sc.accessgov.com/yemassee/Forms/Page/yemassee/shrimp/

The Shrimp Festival is a celebration of the delicious seafood the South Carolina coast is famous for and a community gathering that brings together locals and visitors. We encourage all vendors to read through the following key points before submitting their applications:

Application Review: The festival committee will review applications after the submission window closure. Selected vendors will be notified, and those not selected will receive a refund within 10 business days.

Setup Requirements: All vendors must be accompanied by a festival staff member during setup. Full setup must be completed by 2:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Vendor Regulations: The committee will control vendor numbers and types of items sold. Note that certain items like fireworks and explicit materials are prohibited.

Facilities: Vendors are responsible for their booth setup, including tables, chairs, and tents. The festival will provide electrical outlets, but vendors must bring adapters and cords.

Space Allocation: Each vendor space measures 12 ft by 12 ft. Vendors must manage within the allocated space without any exceptions.

Sales Tax Compliance: All vendors must collect South Carolina sales tax on sales and comply with all applicable laws.

Trash Management: Vendors must provide trash cans and ensure their area remains clean.

This year, we also remind vendors that no loud generators will be permitted; only quiet, low-noise generators are allowed.

Payments and Applications: Payments can be made online or in person at Yemassee Town Hall. Both credit/debit cards and cash are accepted. Details on parking, including a parking pass, will be provided at check-in.

We look forward to celebrating another successful year of our Shrimp Festival with you.
